Crews Searching For Gannon Stauch In Douglas County
Gannon Stauch has not been seen since Jan. 27. Authorities have expanded their search to southern Douglas County.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO — The search for a missing Colorado Springs boy has expanded into southern Douglas County, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office announced. The 11-year-old has been missing for more than two weeks. Crews are also continuing their search in El Paso County.
Gannon Stauch left his home in the 6000 block of Mandan Drive, near Fountain, between 3:15 and 4 p.m. on Jan. 27 to go play at a friend's house down the street, according to the sheriff's office. He has not been seen since.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has not given a reason for the expanded search into Douglas County. Authorities have received more than 400 tips, which are helping to guide the investigation and determine search areas, the sheriff's office said.

More than 130 people, including search and rescue personnel and community members, were searching for the boy in Douglas and El Paso counties Wednesday. K-9s were also assisting.
The search continued Thursday near Larkspur.

A surveillance video from near the boy's home shows him getting into a red truck with his stepmother, Leticia Stauch, in their driveway at 10:13 a.m. on Jan. 27, according to a report by ABC 7. The stepmother appears to return around 2:19 in the truck without the 11-year-old.
The stepmother reported the boy missing just before 7 p.m. the same day.
The boy's father, Albert Stauch, and mother, Landon Hiott, ask the public for help with the investigation in a YouTube video.
