Gunshot Victim In Littleton 1-Car Wreck A Suicide: Police
Littleton Police determined the 33-year-old male involved in a 1-vehicle crash took his own life.
LITTLETON, CO -- Littleton police investigators determined the driver found dead with gunshot wounds in a one-car crash was a case of suicide, the City of Littleton said in a statement. Around 3:35 a.m. Feb. 6, officers found a yellow Toyota FJ crashed into a parked car in the 500 block of West Caley Avenue. The driver, a 33-year-old man who lived in the neighborhood, was found dead from a gunshot wound.
"Based on the results of the investigation, as well as the preliminary autopsy report, this case is now being investigated as a suicide," the City of Littleton posted.
Police declined to identify the deceased man.
