Littleton Academy Teachers Named Among Best In Colorado
Niche put together a list of the best teachers in the nation.
LITTLETON, CO — The beginning of the school year is a good time to do a little research on how your teachers stack up against others — whether you’re sending your children to kindergarten for the first time or if they’re preparing to graduate.
Teachers at Littleton Academy have been named among the best educators in Colorado, according to Niche, a website that ranks everything in education.
"Littleton Academy is a highly rated, public, charter school located in Littleton, CO," Niche's post read. "It has 465 students in grades K-8 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. According to state test scores, 52% of students are at least proficient in math and 74% in reading."

According to Niche.com, the rankings are based on seven factors: academic grades, parent/student surveys on teachers, teacher absenteeism, teacher salary index, teachers in their first or second year, average teacher salary and the student-teacher ratio:
- Littleton Academy was named the No. 1 public middle school in Arapahoe County, and No. 23 in the state's Best Public Elementary School Teachers category.
- Cherry Hills Village Elementary School was named the top public elementary school in the state. Belleview and High Plains elementary schools were named No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
