LITTLETON, CO — The reopening of the Littleton Center has been postponed until May 18 amid the new coronavirus outbreak, the city announced Monday. The center was previously slated to open April 30.

Littleton City Manager Mark Relph said other city buildings will be reopened in phases, and the Littleton Municipal Courthouse is the next priority, however a date for its reopening has not yet been set.

“There is still so much we don’t know about how to best protect our employees and building visitors,” Relph said in a statement.

“The city council and I agree that we need more time to make building modifications and consider other measures to make sure we can safely reopen. In the meantime, our employees continue to provide most city services through our online platforms and by phone.”
