Littleton Coronavirus Survey Results Released
The City of Littleton issued a public survey to learn more about the impacts of coronavirus on people's daily lives.

LITTLETON, CO — The City of Littleton has released the results of a survey that aimed to find out how residents are faring amid the new coronavirus pandemic. The survey, which was posted across all of the city's social media platforms, received a response that was "greater than any survey ever posted on Open Littleton," city officials said.
The majority of residents said the pandemic has negatively affected their lives; however just over a third of residents said that “none of their essential needs have been impacted by COVID-19."
More than 21 percent said, “Healthcare essential appointments have been cancelled,” and 20.3 percent reported that their “business is experiencing loss of revenue.”

Respondents also shared their concerns in an open-ended question. There were 431 responses from teachers, retirees, restaurant workers, ride-sharing drivers, health care workers and others, the city said. Opinions varied on when public health orders should be lifted. Many residents said they're feeling isolated and missing their friends, family and coworkers. Some worried about grocery shopping, paying rent, preexisting health conditions and caring for loved ones.
The city council and staff will use this information to inform decisions about programs and services moving forward, officials said.
