Littleton Names Young Deputy City Manager

Randy Young has been serving as acting deputy city manager since July.

LITTLETON, CO -- The City of Littleton announced that Randy Young has been appointed as Littleton Deputy City Manager. Young has served as acting deputy manager since July.

City Manager Mark Relph made the announcement, saying Young "brings a wealth of experience in municipal governance to Littleton," in a statement. Young previously served as chief executive of Sheridan, Wheat Ridge, and Parker.

Young earned his masters of public administration and bachelors in business administration degrees from the University of Colorado at Denver. He is a past president of the Metro City and County Manager’s Association and a member of the International City/County Manager’s Association, according to an announcement.

“We are really fortunate to have Randy join our team,” Relph said in an email. “His 20+ years of successful municipal management, fiscal responsibility and efficient service delivery is unmatched. [Young] is definitely the right person at the right time to work with the city council, citizens, the staff and me to move Littleton forward,” Relph added.
