Littleton Police Seek Help Finding Man Missing From Centennial

CENTENNIAL, CO — The Littleton Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding a man who went missing Tuesday from Centennial.

Robert Pestana, 78, was last seen at 9:15 a.m. by his wife when he left to go to the Goodson Recreation Center, police said. He was expected to return by noon, however, has not been seen since.

No foul play is suspected, police said.

"Robert has not been diagnosed with any medical issues, however, has recently begun struggling with memory recall and geography," Littleton police said in a news release. "Robert does not take any medications or have any other aggravating circumstances related to his missing status."

Robert is described as 6-foot-1 tall, 200 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood, dark jean pants and a black baseball cap, police said.

He is driving a 1992 blue Jeep Cherokee with Colorado plate 731AAV. The vehicle has a faded “Fraternal Order of Police” bumper sticker and significant rusting to the rear right side of the bumper, police said.

Pestana does not have a cell phone or a debit card and does not have any family or close friends in the state, police said. Anyone who sees Robert, or someone who matches his description, is asked to call the Littleton Police Department at 303-794-1551.
