Man Dragged 5 Blocks By Bus, Killed In Littleton
Police are investigating how a man was dragged five blocks down the street by an RTD bus.

LITTLETON, CO – A pedestrian was killed in Littleton Thursday after being dragged five blocks by a bus, Littleton police said. The eastbound lanes of Littleton Boulevard were closed into the evening Thursday between Prince and Windermere as the investigation continued,
Around 3 p.m. a male around 30 years old "made contact" with an RTD bus in the 2000 block of Littleton Boulevard near the RTD station and was dragged to the 1500 block, said Officer Rick Redmond. He said police still don't understand how the incident occurred.
Police on Friday identified the man as Patrick Tshudy, 31, of Greenwood Village.

"We're talking to witnesses, people on the bus, local businesses to see if they have surveillance video, to see how this transpired," he said. Another vehicle swerved in front of the bus to alert the driver, Redmond said.

Around 15 passengers were on the bus when it happened, he said.
The bus was "an older model," Redmond said, but it did have safety cameras, which the police would be reviewing, he said.
Police did not identify the pedestrian, pending notification of his next of kin, Redmond said.
