Man Fires Shots At Girlfriend In Littleton: Police

After an argument with his girlfriend, a man fired shots in her direction and started a porch fire, police said.

LITTLETON, CO — The Littleton Police Department is investigating a domestic dispute that ended with the arrest of a 39-year-old man. He's accused of firing shots at his girlfriend and starting a fire on a porch. His girlfriend was not injured, police said.

David Ingals faces several charges, including first-degree murder, kidnapping and first-degree arson.

Officers were called to an apartment complex at 4600 West Mineral Drive Thursday after someone reported the fire. Ingals and his girlfriend were arguing, and he fired two shots in her direction with a handgun, police said.

Ingals then went outside and started a fire on the porch, authorities said. His girlfriend was able to escape and asked bystanders to call 911.

Officers arrived and took Ingals into custody. He's being held at the Arapahoe County jail.
