Marvin W. Foote Youth Center Teacher Accused Of Sex Assault

CENTENNIAL, CO — Arapahoe County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a former educator at the Marvin W. Foote Youth Services Center Thursday on the felony charge of Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust. Maggie Christine Stastny, 32, will be held without bond until her initial court appearance.

Stastny engaged in a sexual relationship with an underage inmate at the Foote Center earlier this year, according to investigators.

Stastny was an employee of the Cherry Creek School District and assigned to teach at the juvenile detention center, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said.
