Witnesses on the shore and in boats last saw the teen swimming on Friday near Catfish Flats and Chatfield Swim Beach, fire officials said. He was swimming with another person who was rescued by a boat nearby.

Search crews used drones, a helicopter, divers, a cadaver dog and sonar technology to search the water. Crew members on jet skis were patrolling search areas to keep boaters and swimmers away.
