Opening Date Set For Littleton's Weekends On Main
Main Street will be closed to allow al fresco dining. Here's a list of participating restaurants.
LITTLETON, CO — Weekends on Main is set to begin Friday at 5 p.m., and continue through Sunday at 9 p.m., the city announced. Main Street will close over the weekend to allow more than a dozen restaurants to expand their seating. Prince, Nevada and Curtice Streets will remain open, officials said.
The city worked with the Littleton Business Chamber and the Historic Downtown Littleton Merchants Association to launch Weekends on Main, which will be held every weekend in the month of June.
The concept was created to help restaurants obtain additional seating outside to compensate for the seating lost inside due to social-distancing requirements.

The million-plus lights on the trees in downtown Littleton, normally seen only during the holidays, will be illuminated in the evenings.
Free parking is available on the side streets, at the Littleton Center, in the Reinke Brothers parking lot courtesy of the Littleton Business Chamber; and at Arapahoe Community College where free pedicab rides provided by the City of Littleton, will carry diners to and from Main Street.
The city submitted a plan to Tri-County Health Department describing the program and received approval in late May. City leaders said the plan ensures strict requirements for social distancing and other safety issues identified in the state's most recent order concerning restaurants.
