'She Puts Herself On The Front Lines Every Day': Littleton Hero

LITTLETON, CO—When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Susie Ratzell in Littleton, who recently nominated her daughter, Sedona Ratzell, a grocery stocker at King Soopers.

She puts herself on the front lines every day to help the community.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Sedona moved back home to go to school in summer, turns out she couldn't because of COVID-19. She got a job at King Soopers to help stock shelves because they were empty and there was no one to work them. She has to wear a mask and gloves to protect not only herself but others. She cares deeply for others and makes sure they are taken care of.
