Shelter In Place Lifted Near Southwest Plaza In Jeffco
Deputies are continuing their search for two robbery suspects in Jefferson County, officials said.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — A person is in custody and two more remain at large after a robbery Wednesday near Bowles and Wadsworth, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
A CodeRed alert was sent to residents and business owners in the area warning them to shelter in place, but the order was lifted around 3:15.
Officers were called to the area around 1 p.m. after an armed robbery at an ATM, officials said. Authorities said that witnesses provided a good description of the suspects' vehicle.

The vehicle then crashed near Wadsworth, and the three suspects ran off, officials said. One person was taken into custody, and two firearms were found, investigators said.
A description of the other two suspects was not available.

"Please call 911 if you see anything suspicious," the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said in a tweet.

The armed robbery victim was not harmed, the sheriff's office said.
A possible carjacking was first reported by authorities, but this has not been confirmed.
