South Metro Fire Rescue Investigating 2 Littleton House Fires
A fire damaged two homes Friday afternoon.
LITTLETON, CO — The cause of a fire that burned two houses in Littleton Friday remains under investigation. The fire damaged two homes near West Peakview Avenue and West Peakview Circle, South Metro Fire Rescue said.
Seven fire crews arrived on scene to fight the blaze, as temperatures soared.
“Temperature on scene is 102 degrees so extra crews were called due to physical exhaustion concerns,” the fire department said in a tweet.

The fire was under control by about 4:20 p.m.

No injuries have been reported.
