A suspect remains at large after trying to pass counterfeit money in Littleton, deputies said.

LITTLETON, CO — Deputies are searching for a suspect who tried to use counterfeit money Wednesday at a bank in Littleton, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's office.

The suspect tried to use the counterfeit bills at a bank in the 12000 block of W Ken Caryl Ave., authorities said.

The suspect left the bank before deputies arrived, and a search was underway, the sheriff's office said.
