Pueblo Community College enrollment jumps 18%; trades help fuel growth (kansas.com) — Pueblo Community College just logged an 18% jump in fall enrollment, strengthening the pipeline of nurses, welders, first responders and other skilled workers for Pueblo and southern Colorado. Leaders credit booming trades programs, more in-person advising, and growing concurrent enrollment with local high schools, and say continued program expansions could further boost opportunities for first-generation and adult learners.
3. Two stolen vehicles and over ten plates recovered in Pueblo: PPD (fox21news.com) — Pueblo police recently recovered two stolen vehicles and more than ten stolen or swapped license plates in several neighborhoods, including near East 13th Street and Mineral Palace Park. One maroon Kia Sorento remains missing as officers continue investigating the thefts and plate switching that stretched from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and Pueblo West.
