Leaders emphasized recent facility upgrades, disaster relief support after the Aspen Acres Fire, and the long-term commitment of employees who've helped the center evolve with new technology.
   

2. Pueblo Community College enrollment jumps 18%; trades help fuel growth (kansas.com) — Pueblo Community College just logged an 18% jump in fall enrollment, strengthening the pipeline of nurses, welders, first responders and other skilled workers for Pueblo and southern Colorado. Leaders credit booming trades programs, more in-person advising, and growing concurrent enrollment with local high schools, and say continued program expansions could further boost opportunities for first-generation and adult learners.

Two stolen vehicles and over ten plates recovered in Pueblo: PPD (fox21news.com) — Pueblo police recently recovered two stolen vehicles and more than ten stolen or swapped license plates in several neighborhoods, including near East 13th Street and Mineral Palace Park. One maroon Kia Sorento remains missing as officers continue investigating the thefts and plate switching that stretched from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and Pueblo West.

Cooler and Wetter Conditions Arrive and Are Here To Stay Through the End of the Week (koaa.com) — Expect a cooler, wetter stretch in Pueblo today, with lows in the mid‑50s, highs in the low 70s, and about a quarter‑inch of rain under persistent clouds. Showers taper to more isolated activity Friday before drier, warmer 80‑degree weather returns for the weekend across southern Colorado.
