1 Dead As Fire Rips Through CT Home: Report
A man was found dead following a fire in Bristol on Monday night.
BRISTOL, CT — A man is dead following a fire Monday night in Bristol, WTNH News-8 reported. Firefighters arrived at a Steele Road home to find heavy smoke at the front of the home.
Crews went in the home through the back. A woman escaped the home by herself, but an elderly man found in the basement was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Bristol Fire Department is investigating.
