2 Dead After Blaze Rips Through Mobile Home In CT: Fire Officials

KILLINGLY, CT — Two people are dead following a fire at a mobile home in Killingly, according to fire officials.

Crews responded to a report of a fire at 1:10 a.m. Friday at Fall Brook Park, South Killingly firefighters said in a Facebook post.

Firefighters arrived to find a mobile home engulfed in flames. Two people were unaccounted for.

Firefighters dealt with the blaze while also searching the home. They found the two victims, who were both declared dead at the scene of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal and a state police unit.
