CONNECTICUT — Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of a day we will never forget. There were 161 victims with ties to Connecticut killed in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

Patch shares the names of all the victims from Connecticut, and in-depth coverage of the state's official 9/11 memorial ceremony.

On 9/11 Anniversary, Pain Remains But Community's Embrace Helps

Connecticut resident Josh Piver was at work on the 105th floor of the World Trade Center on 9/11. Josh’s sister said the pain has been profound as she lost her only sibling in the terrorist attacks. CT Officials, Families Gather For Annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony, Victim Families Share Emotional Stories

During the emotional ceremony, Elizabeth Bullis Wiese recalled how she spoke to her sister, who worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines and was on Flight 11, the evening prior to Sept. 11. Man Passes Through CT On Walking Trek To NYC In Honor Of 9/11 Victims

A former flight attendant pushing a beverage cart from Boston to New York City in honor of 9/11 victims recently passed through Connecticut.
