CONNECTICUT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases increased by 117 over the past 24 hours to 45,557 and the number of deaths rose by 12 to 4,238.
The number of current hospitalizations decreased by four to 172 and more than 7,200 people were tested.
Connecticut's Chief Operating Officer Josh Geballe said "Three days in a row where new cases are less than 2% of total tests and Connecticut is now estimated to have the lowest rate of transmission (Rt) in the nation."
Connecticut is no. 1, followed by Massachusetts, D.C., Illinois, and New Jersey. The highest rate of transmission is found currently in Hawaii, Montana and Arizona. >>>You can view the nationwide chart here.
