WATERTOWN, CT — The Jameson Pub Sports Bar and Grill in Watertown will reopen after closing in February.
The eatery and bar will officially reopen May 1 with hours of 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., according to its Facebook page.
"Good vibes, cold drinks, great food, and ALL the game-day energy," the establishment posted. "Grab your crew, bring your appetite, and let's make opening night one to remember."
The post garnered over 400 reactions and 80 comments.
The pub at 657 Main St. had served the community for four years before announcing in February that it would be closing. At the time, the owner wrote that it had been a "struggle" to stay open due to costs.
The venue will no longer feature live music.
The address was previously home to other music-based cafes over the years, including The Red Door and Ouzo Blues, according to The Connecticut Scoop.
