Martha Stewart Makes Surprise Stop At CT Farm, Winery

Stewart, who recently opened a restaurant in the state, was a surprise guest at a local business.

FRANKLIN, CT — Martha Stewart was spotted at a Connecticut farm and winery recently. Arrowhead Acres in Franklin posted about Stewart's visit on Thursday.

"We had a surprise guest come in this morning! Thank you for your business Martha Stewart," Arrowhead Acres posted.

Stewart has many connections to the state. She lived at "her gorgeous Turkey Hill farmstead in Connecticut from 1971 to 2007," according to her website.

Earlier this year, her restaurant The Bedford opened at Foxwoods Resort Casino. The restaurant is named after her 153-acre estate in nearby Katonah, New York.

The Bedford is Stewart’s second restaurant and her first on the East Coast. Her first location opened at Paris Las Vegas in 2022.

The menu includes dishes described as Stewart’s personal favorites, including a Kurobuta pork chop, a Niçoise salad, and pierogies. The beverage menu includes specialty cocktails developed for the restaurant.

She also headlined the casino's holiday programming.

Arrowhead Acres is a farm and vineyard with a farm store, bakery and winery.
