The National Weather Service said Connecticut may see thunderstorms between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday.
Rain is forecast to fall for much of the day and night on Sunday with up to 2 inches of rain possible, according to forecast updates.
"In addition to rain that could be heavy at times, it will be cool with highs in the 60s," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists. "Although expected rainfall amounts look overall lower than last weekend's system, there's still the potential for 1-2″ or more of rainfall - particularly in SW CT. Because of this, isolated flooding/ponding can't be ruled out tomorrow."
Rain should end late Sunday, and it will feel like fall next week, with temperatures only reaching into the 50s and 60s. There is a chance of some rain on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday next week, but the odds are only around 30 to 40 percent.
