Bear Spotted On Video Pushing Entire Dumpster

A bear is now famous after ABC New York shared a video to its 720,000 followers on the social media platform X showing a bear in Farmington, Conn., trying to take off with an entire dumpster.

The 1-minute video shows a bear pushing an entire dumpster into the woods. You can see the bear standing up on its legs, pushing the dumpster through the parking lot.

Bear sightings are not uncommon in Connecticut, and there have already been 700 sightings in 2026.

There have been 41 sightings in Farmington alone.

The video was taken on March 31.
