Bicyclist Critically Injured In CT Crash, Police Say
The accident was reported Tuesday afternoon.
TORRINGTON, CT — A bicyclist is in critical condition following a crash in Torrington, according to police.
Police responded at 3:32 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a crash involving a bike and a Jeep Grand Cherokee at the intersection of South Main Street and Litchfield Street.
Officers found the bicyclist in the intersection suffering from severe head injuries.

The bicyclist was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment and is currently in critical condition.
The Jeep's driver was not injured and was cooperative with investigators.
