CT Weather: Refreshing Weather Arrives, Storm Chance Late Friday

Finally, Connecticut will see a stretch of nice weather beginning today through Monday. There is one area of concern and that is late Friday night where we could see thunderstorms. The chance for storms is when we're sleeping or in the early Saturday morning hours.

The upcoming weekend looks great with sunshine and temps in the low to mid 70s. The humidity won't be a factor either and temps will start to make it feel fall-like, especially at night with temps dipping down into the 50s.

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said, "A fairly quiet day today with lots of clouds and times of sunshine too! Love humidity all day with high temperatures around 70. More clouds & a touch of humidity for Friday. A brief shower early Saturday then drying out for the weekend!"
