Jimmy's On The River posted the following on Facebook: "It saddens us to announce we will be closed until further notice. Unfortunately, our business was struck by a vehicle today which will need time to be addressed.
"We're so grateful that everyone was able to walk away unharmed. We want to thank all of our patrons and staff who took the time to help clean this heartbreaking mess."

The owners went on to say that they "hope to be open soon to support our staff and serve our community."
On a GoFundMe page, Christina Driscoll, the owner's daughter, said that "the restaurant has faced some incredible challenges over the past two years."
She said that 90% of the renovations on the restaurant due to the 2022 accident had been completed when the second crash occurred Monday.
"This time, customers were inside, but we are incredibly relieved that staff and patrons were able to walk away unharmed," Driscoll wrote. "My dad, Jimmy, had implemented several protective measures, including columns, an elevated sidewalk, and a stone wall around the patio, to prevent such incidents. We believe these precautions helped prevent extensive injuries to our customers during open hours."
As of Monday morning, the fundraiser had generated $2,770 of a $20,000 target.
