Coronavirus CT: Confirmed Cases And Hospitalizations Drop
The number of Connecticut deaths attributed to the coronavirus rose by 34 to 3,803.

CONNECTICUT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut dropped by 15 to 41,288 over the past 24 hours, while the number of deaths rose by 34 to 3,803. The current number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 has fallen by 10, to 684.
In Middlesex, the number of hospitalizations rose by two over the past 24 hours; in New London and Litchfield, the hospitalizations went up by one. In Fairfield, New Haven, Hartford, Tolland and Windham, there was either a slight drop or no change at all in the number 0f hospitalizations.
Seniors have by far carried the lion's share of the COVID-19 death toll in Connecticut. As of Wednesday, 2,276 residents aged 80 and older have succumbed to the virus. In the next oldest age groupings, 816 people in their 70s have died, and there have been 478 deaths from the virus suffered by residents in their 60s.
