CT Gas Prices Tumble: Here's Where It's Cheapest In CT
Connecticut gas prices tumbled more than 50 cents from their peak.

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut Gas prices have tumbled more than 50 cents per gallon from their record that occurred five weeks ago. The average price Sunday was $4.39, which was down 12 cents from last week and 50 cents lower than last month, according to AAA.
The national average was $4.36, which is down 17 cents from a week ago.
People are traveling less and economic factors across the world have pushed prices lower in recent weeks, said Alec Skatky, director of public and government affairs for AAA Northeast.

National gas demand dropped from 9.41 million barrels per day to 8.06 million per day last week. Saudi Arabia didn't announce production increases despite a meeting with President Joe Biden last week.
