CT Ice Cream Shop Vandalized; Closed For 2 Days
Vandals did extensive damage to an ice cream shop that's served the community for more than two decades.
BRISTOL, CT — A Bristol ice cream shop was forced to close for two days due to vandalism, according to WTNH News-8. The shop, Dunphys Ice Cream at 912 Stafford Ave., had cabinets broken, items thrown around on the floor, and an emptied cash register.
The glass front door was also shattered. Video surveillance showed a person dressed in all black and a mask outside the shop, WTNH News-8 reported.
Dunphys posted the following on Facebook along with photos of the damage: "We will be closed today and Friday due to a dirtbag that broke in our store and did all this damage."
