CT Keeps Coronavirus Low Amidst Concern Over Neighbor States
Connecticut had another day of low positive test rates. Rhode Island and Massachusetts aren't faring as well.

CONNECTICUT — The state continues to keep a low positive test rate and a stable hospitalization rate amidst concerning news about neighboring Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Connecticut reported 75 new cases Friday out of 7,532 test results, for a positive rate of about 1 percent.
Hospitalizations dropped by one patient down to 65 patients. Four more deaths were reported, which brought the state total to 4,441.

Rhode Island is on Connecticut's quarantine list due to a growing number of cases in the state.

Rhode Island reported 127 new cases on Friday. Massachusetts recently postponed their next reopening phase and rolled back some limits on social gathering sizes. Massachusetts also reported 320 new cases and 18 deaths on Friday.
Connecticut's total number of coronavirus cases is now at 50,320 and more than 862,000 tests have been administered since the pandemic began in March.
