CT Man Charged With Threatening Truck Driver With A Gun
A Bristol man is accused of displaying a gun and pointing it at the truck driver during an encounter Monday, police said.

PLAINVILLE, CT — A 30-year-old Bristol man is facing multiple charges after being accused of threatening a truck driver with a gun during a heated exchange in Plainville Monday afternoon, according to state police.
The tow truck driver called police to report that they had encountered the man, 30-year-old Kevin J. Perez, in an emergency turnaround area while en route to a job when Perez's speeding vehicle nearly collided with the driver's tow truck.
The two "exchanged words" before Perez is accused of displaying a gun and pointing it at the truck driver, police said.

Perez left the scene before police arrived but authorities said they were able to track him down by the license plate provided by the truck driver.
"Perez acknowledged his involvement in the incident and explained that he had displayed a firearm but had not pointed the weapon in the direction of the tow truck operator," according to police.
