CT Partners With Indeed To Help Unemployed Get Jobs
Connecticut, Indeed and others have partnered to help the unemployed get job training and a job.
CONNECTICUT — Gov. Ned Lamont announced a new partnership with online job board Indeed to help Connecticut residents find employment amid the pandemic. The state has also partnered with online workforce training programs to help the unemployed gain new skills in some of Connecticut’s most in-demand fields.
Connecticut’s Department of Labor has received nearly 610,000 unemployment applications in the past three months.
Indeed created a custom job portal for Connecticut job seekers and employers. Indeed is also hosting a virtual hiring event from June 16 to 18 where companies can hold virtual interviews with candidates. Around 40 employers are participating. Indeed will offer a free webinar June 15 to help applicants prepare for video interviews.
