CT Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Tests Positive For COVID-19
Bob Stefanowski, Republican candidate for governor, announced he has tested positive for COVID-19.

CONNECTICUT — Bob Stefanowski, Republican candidate for governor, has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement released Monday morning, Stefanowski said he had been vaccinated and boosted, and was exposed to a positive case of the virus.
"I just wanted to let everyone know that I tested positive for COVID-19 this morning after finding out I had a positive exposure. I am vaccinated, boosted, and feeling fine so far. I will continue to follow all CDC protocols," Stefanowski said.

Last month the Democratic leadership, Gov. Ned Lamont and Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz both tested positive for the virus.
On Twitter Monday, Lamont wished his rival a "speedy recovery."
