CT School Bus Driver Charged After Fatal Crash: Reports
A Torrington school bus driver is facing criminal charges in an accident that led to a motorcyclist's death last year.
TORRINGTON, CT — A school bus driver is facing charges in a crash that killed a motorcyclist last year, News 12 Connecticut reported. Lisa Krulicki, 63, turned herself in to police Monday as there was an active warrant out for her arrest.
Police reportedly said that Krulicki, a school bus driver for Allstar Transportation, made a left turn in front of a motorcycle, allegedly resulting in the accident. The crash occurred 6:15 a.m., Sept. 21, at the intersection of Torringford Street and Greenwoods Road in Torrington, WTNH News-8 reported.
The motorcyclist, Zachary Zecchin, 24, of Winsted, was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Krulicki's arrest follows a lengthy investigation, according to News 12 Connecticut. She was charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and failure to yield while making a left turn.
There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash.

She was released on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Torrington Superior Court on July 3, WTNH News-8 reported.
