CT Weather: Hot And Humid Dominates Father's Day Weekend
The weather has been very pleasant lately in Connecticut and that is about to change quickly. Here are the new updates.

Connecticut’s seemingly long stretch of dry weather continues for the most part through the weekend and into early next week.
There is a slight chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and a slight chance for more storms on Monday. There does appear to be more of a chance for rain showers in northern parts of the state over the next several days, though the odds are less than 50 percent.
A noticeable weather change is the increasing humidity that began today and continues for the weekend.

The prolonged stretch of low humidity comes to an end for late this week,” the National Weather Service said. “High pressure pushes offshore allowing for a moist southeast to southerly flow of air to push in. This will lead to more in the way of clouds, with low clouds and fog mainly during the nighttime and the morning hours for the next couple of days.”
“An upper level low to the south and southwest will slowly drift closer to the area. This will lead to a chance of a few showers, and possibly a thunderstorm or two across mainly western sections for today. Temperatures will average near normal, with the biggest change being the rise in humidity. During tonight the low clouds and patchy fog should return as temperatures will be primarily in the 60s.”
