Snow Accumulation Estimates Rise For CT: Here's How Much To Expect
The National Weather Service has increased snow accumulation estimates for Connecticut. Here's how much to expect by Monday morning.
CONNECTICUT — Snow has been falling off-and-on across Connecticut Sunday afternoon as accumulation estimates have risen for the light snow event.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for Hartford, Tolland, Windham, and Litchfield counties, and also for interior sections of southern Connecticut.
No advisories have been posted for coastal sections of Fairfield, New Haven Middlesex, and New London counties. While no advisories have been posted for these areas, even coastal areas along the I-95 corridor may see an inch or two of snow by early Monday, the National Weather Service said.

The most snow is forecast to fall in Litchfield and Hartford counties, where 3-6 inches is now possible. Tolland and Windham counties and interior sections of southern Connecticut may all see 2-4 inches of snow.
Again, this isn't a big storm but snow estimates have slightly increased since Friday and the Monday morning commute may be slippery for many.

AccuWeather meteorologists say this storm may not be the only opportunity for snow for residents in the Northeast this week.
"Disruption to travel could be a concern at the end of the week for the same major cities in the Northeast," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Tyler Roys said. "Below-normal temperatures for mid-December are expected through much of the week, which could set the stage for snow across the interior Northeast and for snow to mix with rain closer to the coast."
