CT Weather: Thunderstorms, Several Days Of Rain Upcoming

Don't expect to see the sun for the next few days.

CONNECTICUT — Most towns in Connecticut will see between 1-2 inches of rain between now and Friday morning.

Rain is forecast late Tuesday night and it is expected to continue through Friday morning. There may be some dry periods over the next few days, but we can also expect a lot of clouds and plenty of rain too.

The chance for thunderstorms increases on Thursday afternoon and evening. A bulk of the rain falls Wednesday morning and on Thursday night.

Wednesday Night: Patchy drizzle with a slight chance of showers. Patchy fog between 9pm and 3am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 45. Northeast wind 7 to 11 mph.

Thursday: Patchy drizzle before 9am, then a chance of showers between 9am and 3pm, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm. High near 53. East wind 11 to 15 mph. Wednesday Night: A slight chance of showers after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 44. Northeast wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
