CT Woman Charged With Animal Cruelty At Kennel
Jennifer Ornelli of Bethlehem's Home Away From Home kennel turned herself in to police in Litchfield Tuesday evening.

BETHLEHEM, CT — A local woman is facing an animal cruelty charge in connection with an incident in which a dog may have been neglected while boarded at Bethlehem's Home Away From Home kennel, state police said Wednesday.
Bethlehem troopers were first notified of the incident on the morning of July 12, after which they conducted an investigation and submitted an arrest warrant application for the woman, Jennifer Ornelli.
Ornelli turned herself in to police in Litchfield Tuesday evening. Following her arrest, she was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment at Torrington Superior Court Sept. 18.
