Details On A Less Than Stellar Weather Weekend In Connecticut

It's been a week so that means we were more than due for a rainy weekend here in Connecticut. It doesn't appear to be a complete washout this weekend but periods of rain are possible Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday evening, and most of Sunday. Silver lining? Monday looks sunny and a bit milder.

For today, we can expect cloudy skies with a chance of light rain or drizzle and temps will moderate into the mid 40s, which will make it feel like a heatwave.

"Low pressure will approach tonight and Saturday with rain chances increasing through the night, then lowering during Saturday. There is even a chance that all of Saturday afternoon remains dry for most of the area. High temperatures will once again end up above normal," the NWS says.

Connecticut could see another half inch or more of rain this weekend. And The Weather Channelforecast for Christmas Eve calls for morning snow showers, no accumulation, and then dry but chilly conditions now on Christmas Day. (We're sure this is all subject to change.) It doesn't look good as of now for fans of a White Christmas.
