CT Store Offers 90's Boy Band Apology Cake After Tour Bus Issue
The store apologized to the group after booting their tour buses from a parking lot in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — A day after booting boy band 98° from their Norwalk store's parking lot, Stop & Shop has reached out to the popular 90's vocal group to tell them they do, in fact, "cherish" them.
According to the Norwalk Hour, the band had parked their two huge black tour buses in the store's Main Avenue parking lot because the nearby hotel they were staying at did not have room for the vehicles in their lot. The store subsequently asked them to move the buses.

"Whenever 98 Degrees comes to Connecticut they should be treated like the kings they indisputably are," Murphy said in a tweet Tuesday afternoon. "I'm sorry Nick [Lachey]. Please come back soon."
In response, local associates from the store's Ridgefield location and the store's Public Relations Manager Cindy Carrasquilla went to the venue Wednesday night with platters of cookies and brownies and a special cake for the band, crew and "especially the tour bus drivers."
A message to the band that said “We Do, Cherish You. Love, Stop & Shop” was written on the giant cake.
"We apologize for the inconvenience we caused 98 Degrees when we relocated their tour buses in our Norwalk parking lot to ensure parking for our customers," Carrasquilla said in a statement. "We hope they enjoy the Stop & Shop baked goods we brought them last night."
