EPOCH Senior Living Raises Funds for Alzheimer’s with March Madness Events
More than 70 people turned out for March Madness brackets events at Epoch Senior Living locations in Trumbull, Norwalk and Stamford.

Connecticut - April 2026 - While UConn’s hopes were dashed in the NCAA men’s basketball championship this week with a 69-63 loss to Michigan, there were still some winners in Connecticut.
More than 70 people turned out for March Madness brackets events at Epoch Senior Living locations in Trumbull, Norwalk and Stamford to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Dean Brown, Area Liaison for Epoch Senior Living, said families, professionals and staff at Bridges® by EPOCH at Trumbull and Norwalk and Waterstone on High Ridge gathered on March 16-18 for the annual fundraising event. Participants paid $20 per bracket, with four winners splitting the pot, and a portion of the proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association.

“These events were a great way to spend the afternoon networking with fellow professionals and the perfect way to raise money for an important cause that supports our residents and families navigating dementia,’’ said Brown.
The money raised will go into a fund that will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. EPOCH Senior Living raised more than $46,000 last year for Alzheimer’s causes.
