Former CT Television News Anchor Lands New Job
The popular news anchor left Fox 61 in early February.
CONNECTICUT — Carmen Chau, the popular television news anchor who left Fox 61 earlier this month, has landed a new job in Connecticut.
According to her bio on the social media platform X, Chau is now the director of marketing and communications at Onyx Elite Consulting in West Hartford. The company describes itself as a full-service boutique international business and branding consulting firm.
Chau announced on her Facebook page late last month that she was leaving Fox 61 after nearly seven years as a reporter and anchor.

She joined Fox 61 in April 2017 as a nightside reporter and then went on to anchor the news at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Saturday nights.
A Connecticut native and graduate of East Hartford High School and Eastern Connecticut State University, Chau went to Quinnipiac University for her master's degree in broadcast journalism. She later became an adjunct professor at QU.

Before coming to Fox 61, Chau worked as a reporter in Hagerstown, Md., and then in Albany, N.Y.
