Here Are CT's Top 10 Safest Cities, Study Says

Overall, the state had a strong showing with its low rates in both violent crime and property crime.

A new study examines the safest cities in every state in the country. The rankings from Safewise "are intended to highlight cities with low per capita crime and ignite conversation and action around how to make all cities and communities safer."

In Connecticut, the analysis found that the safest community is Ridgefield. It was the fourth year in a row that Ridgefield secured the top spot.

"Everyone wants to feel safe at home," Safewise wrote. "Whether you're checking in on your current city or scouting out a new one, we've crunched the numbers on crime rates across the country."
