How Much Did You Get? CT Town-By-Town Rain Totals Released
The entire state of Connecticut got slammed by a major rainstorm. How much rain did you get?
CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service released rainfall totals for numerous towns across Connecticut and the winner, according to them, was the town of Sterling, which received more than seven inches of rain.
No matter who got the most rain, the state received much-needed precipitation, which should help put a decent dent in our ongoing drought conditions.
As for Wednesday, it will be mostly cloudy and don't be surprised to see a few rain showers too. On Thursday, the sun returns with temperatures in the upper 70s, more of the same on Friday, and the weekend looks beautiful with sunshine and temperatures around 80 degrees.

"Our next chance for rain is a little less than a week away. It won’t be until later Monday into Tuesday of next week that a frontal boundary moving into the area could bring some wet weather to Connecticut, wrote WFSB 3 TV Chief Meteorologist Mark Dixon and Scot Haney. (Watch the WFSB 3 TV weather forecast here).
Here are the town-by-town rainfall totals as reported by the National Weather Service. It's important to keep in mind that these are rain totals reported and released by the weather service, and some of the rain totals were collected at different times during the storm and may not be the final number.
