July 4th Fireworks 2022 Near New Britain

NEW BRITAIN, CT — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around New Britain so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4:

2022 Great American Boom on July 4

Mayor Erin Stewart said, "The City of New Britain's 30th Annual Great American Boom event is right around the corner, and you won't want to miss it! Pre-registration is required, so sign up through the New Britain Parks and Recreation Department by calling 860-826-3360, visiting www.nbparksnrec.org, or stopping by Room 302 in City Hall."

It will be held on July 4 at Willow Brook Park. The parking lot opens at 7 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. >>>Click here for more information.
