Long-Range Weather Forecast For Christmas, New Year's In CT: NWS
The National Weather Service says long-range weather models reveal an interesting forecast for Christmas, New Year's in Connecticut.

The weather forecast for the next several days in Connecticut continues to look very tranquil with dry conditions and temps running about five degrees below normal for this time of year, according to the National Weather Service.
Temps will moderate at the end of the week, which of course will lead to rainy and possibly stormy conditions on Friday and Saturday. And if you're dreaming of a White Christmas, here's some bad news for you as the National Weather Service released it's long-term forecast through Christmas and New Year's Day.
"Our stretch of colder than normal weather continues through (Thursday) for #MA #RI #CT. Thereafter multiple long range weather models suggest increasing probabilities for temperatures to trend warmer than normal thru Christmas & New Years," the NWS says.

While this doesn't mean there isn't a chance for snow before Christmas, it does appear temps will be trending warmer than normal for the rest of the month, according to the NWS.

one of the quietest 10-day stretch's we have seen in quite some time. Enjoy the sunshine but bundle up for below average temps. #NBCCT @nbcconnecticut https://t.co/wVvfksTfOB pic.twitter.com/E9zpEv5vgg
