MA Woman Captured In CT After Driving Recklessly, Running Into Woods
Dispatchers updated officers about the woman's travels in her Toyota Rav4 as she moved from Massachusetts to Connecticut.
TOLLAND, CT — A Massachusetts woman is facing multiple charges after she was arrested in Connecticut in connection with an incident that occurred in her hometown.
Police in Monson, Massachusetts requested help from police in Tolland Saturday afternoon, notifying officers that the woman, identified as 27-year-old Tiffany Marie Cahl, was on the run and possibly under the influence of drugs.
Police dispatchers updated responding officers on the woman's travels in her Toyota Rav4 as she moved from Massachusetts to Stafford with a flat tire.

Officers came up behind the Toyota on Route 319 with their emergency lights and siren engaged and attempted to stop the car. Cahl initially pulled over, but then exited the vehicle and ran to a wooded area, police said.
"Cahl engaged police in a foot pursuit and was given several directives to stop running, but she refused to comply," according to police.

After police caught up to Cahl, she resisted handcuffing and refused to perform a field sobriety test, officials said.
Cahl requested medical attention after being detained and was taken to the hospital. After her release, Cahl was processed and is facing charges of reckless driving and interfering with an officer.
She was released on a $75,000 surety bond and is scheduled for arraignment at Rockville Superior Court on Oct. 2.
